Location-Aware Wireless Resource Allocation in Industrial-Like Environment

The advent of the fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) requires wireless networked solutions to connect machines. However, industrial environment is notorious for being averse communication, with traditional resource mechanisms prone errors because metallic objects. In this work, we propose exploit knowledge location derive context information and dynamically allocate resources in time space target devices. We spatial geometry Access Points (APs) introduce a statistical model that maps user position’s distribution an angle error hypothesis test declare if link under blockage or not. order avoid changes client side operate single interface radio, use xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">the same network both positioning scheduling. experimentally show our system can localize four mobile robots deployed very harsh metal obstacles reflections. Context applied protocol help increasing up 40 percent throughput above industrial-like scenario.
